Urban Air Adventure Park has opened near the Heights, one of many action entertainment parks to open in the area. The Houston Business Journal reports the 55,000-square-foot indoor trampoline and adventure park will open at 2737 Minimax St. off Interstate 610 West Loop in the Lazybrook-Timbergrove area.
The facility includes space for 10 private party rooms, soft play areas for smaller children, a ball pit, obstacle courses, a go-kart track, an arcade, climbing walls, trampolines, and a Sky Rider, an indoor zipline. The two-level go-kart track occupies 80% of the park.
Urban Air is also expanding into Rosenberg, about 35 miles southwest of Houston in Fort Bend County. Construction is expected to start in October and be completed next March.
Four other adventure-themed attractions have opened, or are expected to open, in Houston. Cosmic Air Adventure Park, Lumos, Round 1 and Score Entertainment are all expected to compete for Houston adventure enthusiasts.
