Calling Rivian EVs amphibious is a stretch, but after an incident last year – specifically the Rivian R1T that survived deep floods in North Carolina – we couldn’t help but applaud just how water-tight the EVs’ internals are. Unsurprisingly, the California-based startup aims to continue that tradition with its upcoming R2 series, the latest generation of Rivians poised to disrupt the American EV market.
