Adkisson Group is under contract for 25 acres in Partners Capital’s 189-acre North Houston Commerce Park.
The Houston Business Journal reports that the company expects to break ground around August on 11 warehouses, ranging from 25,000 to more than 150,000 square feet. Two of them will be crane-ready and include outside storage.
The plan is to build all warehouses simultaneously and deliver them within 12 to 14 months. Â Adkisson is doing the construction and design in-house and is working with Method Architecture on some of the buildings.
Partners Capital acquired the first 153 acres for the industrial park in September 2024 and added another 36 acres on the northern side of FM 1960 about a year later.
The acquisitions for North Houston Commerce Park were part of its $50 million Land Fund I, which launched in September 2022. Other properties purchased under the fund include the 152-acre Waco Gateway Park and 120 acres along the Aggie Expressway at FM 1774, according to Partners’ website.
