Things could be a little awkward the next time Aston Martin hosts the family holiday party, because the famed sports car manufacturer is going after one of its biggest stakeholders in a legal battle over a logo. Chinese automaker Geely, which owns about 17 percent of the English automaker, introduced a winged design for its London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) subsidiary in 2022, a move that Aston protested in court to no avail. But now, the company behind the DB5 and the Lagonda is appealing the court’s March 2026 decision, hoping to protect its iconic logo from alleged impersonation.
