- Numerous AT&T subscribers share reports of getting password change emails and texts early this morning.
- Several of those notifications appear to have gone out at the same time.
- Right now it doesn’t look like anyone’s actually been compromised, but we’ve reached out to AT&T to confirm.
Some emails just ruin your day in a heartbeat: boss requesting a meeting to discuss “restructuring,” landlord notifying you of a rent increase, or just getting some bad news from a family member. Over on Reddit’s AT&T sub, we’ve spotted a spate of reports coming in this morning that all describe the same thing: Users getting a message from the carrier in the wee hours of the morning, arriving over both text and email, telling them their password was just changed.
