It’s not a slam dunk that Audi will go down the off-road route, but there’s still a strong likelihood of it happening. Speaking recently with Automotive News, Audi CEO Gernot Döllner confirmed the brand was extremely interested in the segment currently occupied by the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and Land Rover Defender.
