Baptist Health paid $65 million for the Southbank Medical Pavilion, a 493,000-square-foot healthcare asset at 841 Prudential Drive in downtown Jacksonville. ShareMD was the seller. Transwestern represented ShareMD in the disposition to Baptist Health.
The 22-story Southbank Medical Pavilion is 94% leased and situated on 7.9 acres along the Southbank of the St. Johns River. The property is directly adjacent to Baptist Health’s flagship campus and near Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center and Nemours Children’s Health. In addition to the medical tower, the property includes a six-story, 1,124-space parking garage totaling 324,212 square feet and two development outparcels.
Transwestern’s Healthcare Capital Markets team of Steve Leathers, Bill Boyd, Seth Gilford, Jake Jordan, Angela Heidman, and Max Hastings represented ShareMD. The Transwestern Group led the marketing and sale process, generating offers from healthcare-focused investors, Jacksonville office investors and healthcare providers.Â
