The Bentley Torcal, the brand’s first-ever all-electric vehicle, is launching in the UK with an exclusive ‘First Edition’ model that mixes lavish equipment with striking design details.
The new Torcal First Edition marks the arrival of Bentley’s electric SUV in style, as the First Edition specification also features the highest power output available in the Torcal: a monumental 876 horsepower and 996 pound-feet of torque. Thanks, Porsche Cayenne Electric!
Bentley Craftsmanship Meets Insane Performance

Based on the Torcal S model, the First Edition’s 800-volt dual-motor AWD powertrain enables blistering performance: the 0-60 mile-per-hour sprint takes just 2.8 seconds and the top speed reaches 162 mph. Power comes from a 113.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that enables a range of up to 373 miles on the WLTP cycle.
As far as the styling is concerned, the Bentley Torcal First Edition gets the Carbon Fibre Styling Specification, unique 22-inch First Edition wheels combined with Graphene Grey brake calipers by Mulliner, and subtle First Edition badging on the front fenders and the cabin.

The Carbon Fibre Styling Specification brings carbon fiber front bumper winglets, mirror caps, side sills and rear diffuser for a more purposeful look.
The First Edition wheels have a gloss black finish with Liquid Silver spokes and feature self-leveling Bentley badges; the Graphene Grey brake calipers by Mulliner provide a subtle contrast.

Inside, the Torcal First Edition pampers its passengers with a combination of Bentley craftsmanship and technology. The electric SUV gets bespoke seat quilting featuring contrasting chevrons, Gloss Carbon Fibre technical finish that connects to the exterior’s sporting details (alternative finishes are available at no extra cost), and a Colour Specification.
The latter is said to broaden the possibilities for customization by introducing additional color splits (including two by Mulliner), eight accent colors and the ability to introduce a third interior color. Customers can also go for a full leather interior and contrast stitching.

Illuminated First Edition treadplates and deep-pile carpet floor mats are also part of the package, as are the Wellness front seats and the Rear Comfort Seat Specification, which brings ventilation and comfort headrests for both outer rear-seat occupants.
Bentley says the Torcal First Edition also packs “an exceptional suite of technology and comfort features” as standard, including powered front and rear doors, a Frosted Diamond Switchable Sunroof, and a Naim for Bentley audio system. The latter boasts 1,780 watts and 28 speakers (including in the front headrests), Dolby Atmos 7.1.4, and seat transducers for an “intensely immersive listening environment.”
Bentley did not say how much the Torcal First Edition costs, but seeing as a “regular” Torcal starts at just over £170,000 ($228,000) in the UK, this loaded-up version will probably top £200,000 ($268,000).
