Standing 39 inches tall and nearly 86 inches wide, Bugatti’s recently introduced, one-off Destrier is even lower than the original Lotus Elan and makes a modern Formula 1 Grand Prix car look portly. This, from the brand that sculpted the wide-hipped Veyron to trap its quad-turbo 16-cylinder monster, is cause for contemplation at how one of Bugatti’s few remaining W16 engines hides beneath such seductive bodywork.
