
Daniel Management Group (DMG), a Chicago-based multifamily management and investment company, announced the promotion of Lauren Evett to vice president of property management. The promotion reflects Evett’s expanding role at DMG as she takes on a larger and more diverse portfolio spanning a wider array of assets, clients and staff. She has become an increasingly critical part of DMG’s leadership team, particularly in guiding properties through the demanding transition-to-stabilization period.
T2 Capital Management announced the launch of Base Living, the firm’s wholly-owned, tech-enabled property management company. With the launch of Base Living, T2 welcomes Tyler Yates as director of property management, where he is responsible for operational and financial performance of T2’s property portfolio, ensuring high standards of service and maximizing returns. Yates manages Base Living’s 24 new team members across Illinois, Indiana, and Florida, and is supported by eight members of T2’s corporate team. He reports to Aaron Tink, Principal of T2, who oversees the firm’s asset management division and leads Base Living.
Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Jack Goldsborough from director to senior director. Based in Kansas City, Goldsborough specializes in industrial sale and lease transactions throughout the Midwest, representing landlords, occupiers, investors and developers across a broad range of industrial real estate assignments. Over his 12-year commercial real estate career, Goldsborough has completed more than 300 transactions totaling over $500 million in value.
Financial services veteran Kevin Christopher has joined Chicago-based Key Mortgage as senior vice president of mortgage production. Christopher brings 34 years of financial services experience, with an extensive background in mortgage lending and sales leadership to his new role at the independent lender that operates in multiple states. Most recently, he served as managing director of mortgage sales for the central division at JPMorgan Chase, where he oversaw retail mortgage sales across 17 states. Christopher has also held leadership roles at BMO Harris, U.S. Bank, Prism Mortgage and Baird & Warner Financial Services.
Northmarq announced the acquisition of Thirdline Capital Management, LLC, a registered investment advisor that manages the Thirdline Real Estate Income Fund (TREIX), a registered closed-end fund. Northmarq Fund Management, founded in 2002, invests and manages debt and equity capital nationwide, and specializes in small-balance and mid-market commercial real estate investments. Adding Thirdline broadens Northmarq’s presence in income-oriented investments and provides a registered fund available to a variety of institutional and individual investors, and accessible for wealth managers and their clients through national custodial platforms.
