The classic muscle car is slowly dying out as environmental concerns and the popularity of other automotive segments force these kinds of vehicles to go away. For example, the Dodge Challenger and Charger SRTs recently retired, as did the Chevy Camaro. Another offering to fall victim to differing approaches among American manufacturers was the Chrysler 300, which, in SRT trim, could be had with a commanding Hemi V8 beneath the hood. This model only lasted a few years before going away, but there were also standard models that came with a smaller version of the legendary powerplant.
