Toyota’s new, all-hybrid RAV4 line should’ve been dominating the sales charts this year. It packed fresh styling, more power, and more efficiency in what was already America’s favorite vehicle that wasn’t an F-Series. Instead, production woes sent sales plummeting early in the year. That’s left an opening for its fiercest rival, the Honda CR-V to overtake it. In fact, the Honda is so far ahead, it’s unlikely that Toyota can catch up this year.
