The old seventh-generation Dodge Charger never felt that antiquated, and it never felt slow, either. Its old bones and ancient platform share a similar architecture to the equally dated Chrysler 300 and Chrysler 300 SRT8. Nevertheless, despite an aging chassis to work with, Dodge’s SRT skunkworks worked their magic, cramming a 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 engine that can unleash north of 800 hp and a 200+ mph top speed in the later Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat generations. Even some of the earlier Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat model years had 700+ hp, which is bonkers for a sedan.
