Florida-based ECD Auto Design has become one of the foremost names in luxury restomoding. The “ECD” part of their name stems from the company’s original moniker: East Coast Defender. Rehabbing boxy old British farm vehicles remains the core business, but the company has branched out into other product lines. A couple of years ago, ECD began restoring Jaguar E-Types, and the brand’s latest foray is its first American classic model: the first-generation Ford Mustang.
