Bethesda-based EYA, LLC, and Simpson Development Company, Inc., have secured entitlement for 333 N Fairfax, a new 32-unit townhome community in Old Town Alexandria.
The milestone marks a significant step toward transforming the underutilized office site into a for-sale residential neighborhood. Located just three blocks from King Street and one block from the Potomac River, the community will feature fee-simple townhomes, including two affordable units, each with private elevators and rooftop terraces.
â333 N Fairfax is a strong example of our disciplined approach to complex infillâidentifying high-quality sites where we can unlock value and enhance communities through thoughtful planning, efficient execution, and close collaboration with our partners and local municipalities,â said Jack Lester, Executive Vice President of Acquisition and Development at EYA.
The project is expected to generate significant long-term value for the landowner while contributing new housing inventory and tax revenue to the city. Groundbreaking is anticipated in spring 2027, with sales expected to begin in fall 2027.
