It’s been a minute since America had a truly exciting Subaru Forester. By that, we mean a Forester with a turbo, and you have to step back to 2018 to find it. That was the last year for the 250-horsepower Forester XT sold in the US. The 2019 Forester, which launched the SUV’s fifth generation, was naturally aspirated with less than 200 hp.
