America’s Glickenhaus was the first to commit to the new Hypercar class of the FIA World Endurance Championship, promising both a new race car and a road-going variant, sort of like the Aston Martin Valkyrie. That was in 2018, and by 2021, Glickenhaus was racing its 007C LMH all over the globe in the newly launched premier endurance racing category.
