Stellantis had something special in mind for South America when it launched the Ram Dakota Nightfall concept in August 2025. This new mid-size truck has a TRX flavor, features raised Fox suspension, snazzy wheels, and off-road tires, and comes with a winch and prominent steel bumper. It looks very capable and ready for any terrain, especially with a full-width LED light bar to announce its arrival. But from the outset, it was clear that its home would be below the equator and that the Dakota Nightfall would be unlikely to make its way “up north.” What are consumers in the USA likely to miss and why?
