Looking back at the original 1999 Honda HR-V, which was never sold in the United States, Honda almost predicted the future with its naming. HR-V stands for ‘hi-rider revolutionary vehicle, as it was built on a hatchback platform but raised to give it a more utilitarian and larger look. That’s how most modern crossovers are built, which Honda did a quarter of a century ago. But, does the HR-V also stand for reliability like other Honda models?
