Track tests of HWA’s highly-anticipated 190E 2.5-16 Evo II restomod have apparently received many a thumbs-up at Affalterbach. So much so, in fact, that the German engineering firm, ahead of a planned two-car assault with the ‘EVO Prototype’ at next year’s Nürburgring 24 Hours, recently completed some demonstration laps around the infamous Nordschleife. In true 90s throwback fashion, they did so with a heritage livery and former Mercedes-Benz DTM works driver Roland Asch at the wheel.
