Honda recently made major waves in the enthusiast community with a troubling announcement. In it, the Japanese automaker declared that it would be pausing production of most of its manual transmission-equipped cars, namely the Honda Civic Si and the Acura Integra A-Spec, for the 2027 model year. Honda then offered assurance that production would recommence at a later, undetermined date and blamed increasingly tight Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) restrictions for the move.
