Kia has officially put its soon-to-be-launched EV4 around the Nürburgring. But before you get too excited, the all-electric sedan wasn’t on a tear hunting down the plug-in hybrid Mercedes-AMG ONE’s lap record, or even Xiaomi’s surprisingly swift SU7 Ultra EV. Germany’s most famous 12.9-mile stretch of asphalt was instead used to test the durability of Kia’s new fourth-generation lithium-ion battery.
