Historic British brand MG is perhaps best known for its sprightly roadsters like the MGB and Midget of the 1960s, but today it sells a lineup of sedans and SUVs, and even an electric roadster, most of them built in China. While the modern MG targets the mainstream segment with gas, hybrid, and electric vehicles, it’s now ready to move upmarket with the new IM EV brand, which made its formal debut this week in the U.K. at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
