Mitsubishi announced last year that, as part of its turnaround plans, it would be launching five new vehicles over the next five years, at least some of which were previewed in a teaser image from 2024. One of those models was just revealed recently: the Mitsubishi Eclipse Sportback electric car, based on the Nissan Leaf. That leaves four more models, and, according to Automotive News, dealers got a preview of them at a recent meeting with Mitsubishi executives. Some of those dealers shared some details to the news outlet, and they confirmed some of our expectations, and threw out some others.
