The current 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning is a pretty decent electric pickup truck, but its 320-mile range has been outclassed by rivals like the Chevrolet Silverado EV and Rivian R1S, which can both travel over 400 miles thanks to their larger battery packs. Today Ford has announced a next-generation F-150 Lightning that will go much further than the original, over 700 miles between stops to be exact. But there’s a big caveat to that.
