Nissan is still looking for partners. If it can’t pair up with another automaker at the highest levels, it will still be happy to make a match on individual vehicles. A Nissan exec recently said that the company is in conversations with multiple partners and that a deal for a shared model – for example a new vehicle based on the Nissan Frontier pickup – could be possible in the next few years.
