People Are Putting Car Puddle Lights Into Their Home Appliances

Puddle lights, also known as approach lighting, are car lamps, usually housed under the mirror or door. They’re there to help drivers and passengers avoid stepping in something unpleasant or on something slippery when they approach the vehicle. They started appearing on luxury vehicles around 2010 but, around 2015, automakers realized they could project their brand logo on the ground and started calling them welcome lights.
