Electric vehicles may very well be the future, but they’re not making a strong case for themselves in the used car market. After all, in a five-year depreciation study, the average EV lost 57.2%, while the average hybrid lost 35.4%. Mass-market consumers seem to be far less satisfied with EVs as well when it comes to their driving distance and expected future resale values, with hybrids clearly ahead in both areas.
