Rockland Trust financed the acquisition of Indian Pond Country Club (IPCC), a private championship golf club in Kingston, MA. The buyer, Bobby Palma, is a Kingston native, longtime IPCC member and South Shore entrepreneur with deep ties to the region. The Boston Business Journal reported the sale price as $12 million.
“IPCC has been a special place for me for many years, not only as a member, but as someone who grew up here in Kingston and cares deeply about this community. Owning the club is both a personal honor and a significant responsibility,” said Palma.“I’m grateful to Rockland Trust for their partnership and support in helping make this vision a reality.”
Founded in 2001, IPCC is set among wooded conservation land and the Indian Pond Estates residential community. Indian Pond’s experienced management team will continue to oversee daily operations across golf, dining, events, and facilities.
