If you think about it from a modern perspective, a 3.2-liter engine pumping out 360 horsepower isn’t really all that impressive. Just look at powerplants like Mercedes-AMG’s M139l, which produces 469 ponies with just a turbocharger and hand-built engineering. However, back in 2003, squeezing 360 hp from a naturally aspirated inline-six was no small feat, especially considering the quickly tightening emission standards of the day.
