Stotan Industrial, in partnership with 56 Maple, acquired 1101 W. Thorndale Avenue in Itasca, Illinois, a 32,937 square foot industrial facility located in Chicago’s supply constrained O’Hare submarket.
Eric Fischer and Gabriel Strauss of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller in the transaction. Stotan sourced the opportunity through its longstanding relationships in the Chicago industrial market as the owner-user prepared to transition out of the facility.
Situated on 2.47 acres in DuPage County, the property offers immediate access to Illinois Route 390, Interstate 290 and Interstate 355. The facility is also approximately 15 minutes from O’Hare International Airport and its South Cargo facilities.
“1101 W. Thorndale presented a compelling opportunity to acquire a high-quality industrial asset in one of Chicago’s premier infill markets while providing a long-term facility solution for a growing tenant,” said Blake Waeghe, Development Manager at Stotan. “Buildings of this size and quality are increasingly difficult to acquire in the O’Hare market, particularly in locations offering this level of access and connectivity.”
