Volkswagen spent a huge amount of time, money, and creative energy to launch the ID.Buzz – an all-electric spiritual successor to the Volkswagen Type 2, better known here in the US as the Microbus. In its modern incarnation, it’s a charming and spacious little three-row bus, which is the word Volkswagen, understandably, uses instead of the term minivan. It’s also hugely practical as the battery and motors are under the flat floor and the third row of seating can be removed, while the electric powertrain can get the Volkswagen ID. Buzz up to 60 mph in six seconds and without caring much about how many people it’s carrying.
