The Chrysler 2.7-liter V6 was supposed to be a powerful, refined, and fuel-efficient alternative to the gas-guzzling engines of the 1990s. On paper, the powerplant, which debuted in cars like the Dodge Intrepid, did exactly as advertised. It was fuel-efficient and made 200 horsepower.
