When BMW announced it was acquiring Alpina, there was some concern that Alpina’s magic might get lost in the transition. After all, BMW already has an in-house performance arm with the mad scientists at M. But then we saw the Vision BMW Alpina concept car earlier this year at the Concours d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, and all was right with the world.
