The Genesis G70 Could Be Gone Next Year, Analyst Projects

For almost a decade, Genesis has just kept trying to make the G70 sedan work. The upstart Korean luxury brand wanted to go after Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz, and that meant it needed to include a compact sporty model in its lineup. Different engines, facelifts, and even a manual transmission never got the car anywhere near the levels of its German competitors. Even as sales of its SUVs continue to grow.
