Genesis is about to step off the sidelines and get into the game, and we don’t just mean Le Mans endurance racing. The Seoul-based automaker is about to take the fight to BMW M Performance and Mercedes-AMG luxury compact crossovers with a hot version of the GV60. As its lurid orange paint indicates (evident on the brake calipers and the roof fin of a new prototype spotted by the CarBuzz spies), this will be part of the Genesis brand’s new Magma performance division, which has the aforementioned Germans in its sights.
