Early in the Corvette’s second generation, there was a push to go racing. Mind you, at this point the Corvette wasn’t a legend just yet. It launched a few years prior with a six-cylinder engine and hadn’t yet become the fire-breathing American machine we all know today. Now, one of those early Corvettes that helped establish the legend is headed for auction.
