The New Rivian R2 Just Hit A Major Milestone

Validation production of Rivian’s brand-new, all-electric R2 crossover is underway in Illinois, according to an update from company CEO R.J. Scaringe. In a post shared to X/Twitter, Scaringe confirmed that “validation builds” of the R2 have reached Rivian’s production line ahead of the mid-sized e-SUV’s planned roll-out early next year.
