Wireless charging doesn’t even seem like a real thing, right? That’s like something out of Star Trek, or heck, The Lord of the Rings, closer to magic than it is to real technology. But it’s been in our devices for years, and startups like the Tesla-owned WiTricity have been working to bring it to our electric cars, trucks, and SUVs, while BMW, Volvo, and Hyundai have all been working to be first to market with a mass-production model.
