Just a few years ago, BMW’s combustion-engine outlooklooked bleak. The company was preparing for electrification and planned to eventually phase out its largest internal combustion engines. Today, BMW’s Hams Hall plant in England produces big V8s and V12s for Rolls-Royce models, alongside smaller three- and four-cylinder engines used in more mainstream models.
