Toyota said the RAV4 Hybrid “achieved an all-time best-ever” last month for sales, but that’s not the real story. Sales of what was the bestselling SUV in America have fallen off a cliff this year, and Honda has been right there to snap a load of those buyers up with record-breaking CR-V sales. If that’s not enough, the Honda Civic has pipped the Toyota Corolla on the sales charts for the first half of the year as well.
