Car manufacturers love to innovate, but when it comes to quirky innovation, Toyota takes the cake. After all, the Japanese company knows how to push boundaries on the subject of mobility, with individual personal transporters that can sometimes appear as oddball creations. The year 2013 witnessed a case in point as Toyota unveiled the i-Road, a cross between a motorcycle and a car, designed to revolutionize city mobility. However, like many of Toyota’s experiments in this arena, it didn’t get very far.
