Despite all the hullabaloo surrounding the Tesla Roadster and its purported ability to fly, one automaker will seek to one-up the long-awaited supercar by building something that can actually cover great distances without touching the ground. The DeLorean Motor Company, manufacturers of the thus-far-vaporwave Avlpha5 electric vehicle, will enter the Airspeeder International Series during its inaugural season with a racing hovercraft of its own.
