Ask a dozen car enthusiasts for the name of a car they think is exciting and fun, and the Toyota Avalon is unlikely to be mentioned. This sensible full-size sedan was first introduced over 30 years ago and only went out of production in the US in 2022. It is a close relative of the Corolla, another reliable but not particularly thrilling car.
