In 2024, Toyota discontinued the long-lived V6 engine option for the Camry. The final six-cylinder engine to grace the sedan was Toyota’s 3.5-liter unit, which was part of the automaker’s 2GR powerplant family. With the end of the model offering a V6, the powerplant didn’t have a home, at least until Lotus came looking for help. Now, you can find the engine in an unlikely place: the Lotus Emira SE V6.
