Here in the States, we typically turn up our noses at diesel-powered cars. There’s a small, niche market for them, mainly among those who have more European tastes. But, by and large, diesel power is relegated to heavy-duty pickups, semi-trucks, and earth moving equipment here in the Colonies. After all, the disastrous Oldsmobile diesel engine from the late 1970s and early 1980s sullied the diesel-powered car for millions of folks for decades.
