Manufacturers’ naming conventions can often get pretty confusing, but Volkswagen is apparently doing its best to be more consistent with its nomenclature. The production-ready ID. Polo – previously called the ID.2 – debuted back in April and is being sold alongside the gas-powered Polo. A similar philosophy can be observed with the electric ID. Cross and its combustion T-Cross sibling.
