
A Westlake homebuilder sold a 24-acre site to Walmart for $11.68 million. The company plans to build an 188,779-square-foot superstore that will include a pharmacy, garden center, automotive center and gas station. Minto was the seller. of the land at 5253 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road. The homebuilding company is building a 6,000-unit subdivision in the town. It recently sold a lot to Lowe’s.
The S. Florida Business Journal reports Minto has sold half of the 2.2 million square feet of approved commercial development in Westlake, and it has another large outparcel it will bring to market soon. Westlake is 10 minutes west of Palm Beach.
Existing tenants in Westlake include Publix, Starbucks, Chipotle, Orange Theory Fitness, the Habit Burger Grill, Taco Bell, and KFC.
Minto is a homebuilder, developer, property manager, and investment manager with 70 years in operation and over 100,000 homes built.
