When thinking of automakers at the cutting edge of innovation, Buick may not be the very first name that comes to mind. The oldest surviving automaker in America (a title it gained after Oldsmobile shut down in 2004), the brand occupies a much smaller place on the American automotive market than it once did; it has built a reputation for quiet, boring reliability while being somewhat overshadowed by other brands in the GM family.
