Everybody knows that Genesis offers the same (or better) luxury experience as its German rivals for less money — that’s not the point of this article. What we want to know is exactly how much more money a buyer has to spend on either the BMW X5 or a Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class to reach the Genesis GV80‘s standard levels of luxury? There’s no “affordable” choice here. However, the GV80 is known for being less expensive than its rivals while still offering more standard luxury features. Every model has to have a base trim; Mercedes-Benz and BMW just happen to offer less comfort than Genesis, which requires buyers to spend even more to catch up.
